This past weekend was the Lori Foster, Dianne Castell Readers and Writers Weekend. Much fun was had and yes...I failed to take any photos. I carry a dratted camera everywhere I go but do I take it out?

Thank goodness someone took this one. There were over 100 authors in attendance.

Where does the time go??

I could've sworn I posted a blog last week. Normally I try to post two or three. Somehow, in the depths of my scary brain, I managed to miss almost two weeks of potential blog-time. How does that happen??

I was going through some old photos and thought I'd post something pretty. The fall colors around here have been bad thanks to the drought. I took this photo seven years ago and I think it's pretty.

I absolutely love the scent of drying leaves. Reminds me of pumpkin pies, hot chocolate and the scent of snow.

How beautiful is this? I took this photograph at Andrew Jackson's home, The Hermitage, outside of Nashville Tennesee. I dream of having a garden such as this - it was magnificent.

Normally I post a photo on Fridays but today I'm going to do something a little different. A friend sent me this link and I'm going to share it with you. The images are painful to watch but as I've always said, the truth is the truth no matter how many times one tries to deny it.

Look, it's not a photo of my dogs!! I thought this pond was absolutely beautiful - never seen lilies like this. I had to climb over a fence and dodge security cameras (the pond is on a bank compound and they have security everywhere) just for you...my beloved readers.
