Fantastic News...

I'm pleased to report that I'm not front page news on any of the blogs today...thankyouverymuch! :)

Yesterday I spent most of the day excavating my library/bedroom. I'm in the midst of redoing my bedroom so my bed is here in my library. The best part is if I sit at the computer for too long I only have to get up and fall sideways to get into bed.

The worst part is that I only have to get up and fall sideways into bed. :)

I find I'm watching more television now (I don't keep a tv in the bedroom) and since the tv and bed are in the same place...well, you get the picture.

If you believe / do Feng Shui then you already know when you hit a rough patch in your life, you need to move things around. Movement in your environment changes the energy flow and will enable you to perk up a bit. (unless you're me and move too much then wear yourself out and end up needing a nap!)

So I'm going to spend today and tomorrow putting my library to rights so that I can write and feel peaceful in here. With all the clutter I find it makes me edgy...that and I lose things. Nothing irritates me more than misplacing something that I know I was the last one to use / touch. So organizing and cleaning, for me, is a great way to relieve stress and frustration.

What do you do to relieve frustration?

Scream loud and long which kind of scares the people who are hanging around. I have an explosive temper once it gets riled but it takes a lot to get me there.

I watch movies and cuddle with my doxie when I just feel the need to escape.

And right now I'm looking around my office and thinking I realy need to clean it up once this book is done.

Story of my life.

Hey Ho! Let's Go!
Crank up the RAMONES!
How can you be in a bad mood and listen to the Ramones at the same time?

(JOEY LIVES!)

When I get frustrated, I just vant to be alone. If people don't leave me be, I generally snap. Not in the sense of going wacko, although that HAS been known to happen. No, I snap at people when I talk to them. Or rather when I'm forced to have conversations with others.

Ever had an Italian woman snap at you? Violin cases were made for a reason. Bwwwwwwaaaaahahahahaha

I turn up the music as loud as I can stand it and start cleaning. I clean the whole house, top to bottom.

My husband knows something is up when he comes home to find me scrubbing the baseboards with a toothbrush...

I'm a bit late in commenting, but I whole-heartedly agree with you on this. Cleaning up and out is an awesome way to get the "stuff" out of your life. And digging in the dirt helps too. :)
